An Economics major from Delhi University, Uday cofounded the first third party desktop support business in India in '86 and went on to set up Concordia consulting in '99. Concordia was established to help companies which had cross border ambitions in technology. He also led Newgen software, and today continues to be on the board of leading event management company Wizcraft. Before iYogi, Uday also co-founded IQ Resource, a niche outsourcing company with a focus on B2B media.
Even after 27 years in the IT industry, Uday’s quirky smile doesn’t fade a bit as he ushers his tall frame into the Gurgaon offices of iYogi. You would think it would, after either founding or leading a series of tech, media and entertainment companies starting in the pre-liberalization India of the 1980s. But no, he still loves every second of it. He brings his passion for fast bikes and cars to his desk at iYogi, driving the company and his people in the right direction. He spends his time off playing golf and debating service innovation, politics, cricket and of course, motors.
